Published on 9.06.2011 in
Holy crazy weekend, Batman! Miss me much? I can't believe it's already Tuesday?!? Guess time flies when your kids are puking...
I need to apologize for the enormous amount of pictures in this post..might even have to break it up into two so it doesn't take 8 hours to upload.
Here goes...
The week included Mini #1's first day of 4-year-old preschool (Mini #2 wanted to go too)...
Where did the last 4 years go?...
...lots of play time with friends...
...riding bikes...
...a gorgeous sunset...
...popsicles...
...and rides on the top...
...yes those are soap bubbles in his hair...
...pool splashing...
...a new bed for Mini #1...
...yes, that's soap on the mirror...
...building the dresser...
...with a little help...
...guess who came to visit??...
...and of course bought ice cream...
...a trip to the museum...
...where the little ones took control...
...great parenting decisions...
...muahahaha...
...Mini #2 was enamored...
...bubbles...
...and cool science toys...
...it was so good to see the nieces...
...everyone was thrilled to be there...
...although mom seemed to enjoy being in on the action...
;
...WATER!...
...please note the determination on her face...
...Niece #3 seemed to be a little stronger...
...Engineering Man got a little wet...
...Mini #2 figured out how big a dino's foot is...
...and then we all went digging in the sand...
...to find dino bones...
...we checked out the cow museum...
...and wrapped it all up with a GREAT picture...
...daddy and mini #2 bonded...
...and Grandma and Papa found their new favorite computer game...
...Labor Day we hit the park...
...slid down the fire pole...
...swang...
...and wrapped it all up by relaxing (MINE...all mine...)...
...watching this show...
Bonus points if you can guess what it is from this screen shot. How was your weekend??

Friday's Favorites...Brasso
Published on 9.02.2011 in Friday's Favorites, garage saleing
The platter I picked up at the garage sale last week was a little...under the weather.
Using Brasso, I buffed the plate and made it...
...GORGEOUS...
A little ragged in spots, but considering it was 50 cents...

Thursday Things I Never Thought I'd Hear...
Published on 9.01.2011 in Mini #1, Thursday Things
Mini #1 had just got his hair done by daddy for church.
Engineering Man spikes it all up with gel to make it look like his.
I was getting Mini #2 ready when Mini #1 came up and asked him...
"Do you want Jell-O in your hair too??"
