Barefeet in High Heels

The week started with some crazy rain...

...and LOTS of time with this lovely show...

...I took this one to the bounce houses...

...and we spent quality time there...

...because it was his birthday!!...

...we celebrated with a super fun cupcake...

...and lots of presents...

...I love Dustin's face...

...Mini #2 was Very excited...

...and I finished it up with the next season of softball!!...

I'm ordered some new items for my jewelry line and got it in the mail recently!!

A typewriter font for stamping!!!

Mini #2 walked in to the bathroom when Engineering Man was getting ready for work.

 

EM was in his boxers...

 

"(excited noise)!!  Daddy's going swimming?!?!"

 

"No.  I'm not.  What have you been drinking?"

 

"Water."

 

 

 

The week included the littlest mini's Valentines party...

...followed by an Ash Wednesday service...

...the next day was this mini's Valentine's party...

...later in the week, this mini made a bird feeder...

...and I had some ridiculousness with my crochet hook...

...we baby sat for Boston so his dads could go on a date...

...and then daddy finally came home!!!...

...we grilled...

...and then it was our turn for a date...

...at the Bass...

...it was gorgeous...

...and we followed the show up with my favorite downtown joint and a bratzel!!...

"Momma...me want some water."

 

"Ok, there's a glass on the coffee table."

 

"There's no coffee on the TABLE!...silly momma!!"

Engineering Man and I have been looking for ways to put a little more God in our lives. 

Someone in my bible study gave me the idea of putting Bible verses on the mirrors in our house.

I started doing it, and absolutely love it.

This last week was filled with so many blessings!!!  I am reminded daily of how good God is!

So...the week started with another trip to the Stock Show...

...look at my triplets!!...

...where we learned about cows...

...and petted them...

...and discovered what a chute was...

...then we went to the rodeo...

...where unfortunately forgot my "good" camera...

...but I did get a shot of the calf ropers...

...and of this mini who just couldn't stand the excitement of the bull riders...

...Wednesday was ladies lunch, a total "win" in my book!...

...and Thursday, this mini and I went to a local indoor watering hole.  Love it!!...

...Saturday, the other mini and I headed to a friend's birthday party...

...it was wonderful to see him interacting and playing with his school friends...

And now, the quick note...

Engineering Man asked me the other day if my plate was "full" yet.  I've discovered this lovely little four little word; BUSY.  With working three days a week, two Bible studies, the blog, my crochet business, my jewelry business, my photography business, and now adding the church choir, it seems that it is.  Unfortunately I love everything that I do, but I have to let something slide.  Because so many of the things I do I feel compelled to do, the blog is one that I feel can slie by slightly.  I'm still going to post as often as I can, as I've found it the one way I document our lives.  But, it may not be as often, and it may not be every Monday.  Thank you to all my dedicated readers and I promise not to disappear, but be a little more fuzzy!  :)  Thank you so much for understanding!!!

This week included lunch out with daddy...

...angels...yea right...

...while this one snuggled on the couch with Papa...

...after school we headed to the Stock Show...

...Mini #2 cozied up to whoever just to get the best seat in the house...

...pondered the random things we found...

...and found a fake tractor...

...and a fake combine...

...we rode horses...

...and took our turn on the tractors...

...we also went to the Cowgirl Museum and rode, well, sat in a saddle...

...even Papa took his own turn...

...then we hit the Bucking Bronc!...

...Mini #1 took a rest on...

...a bed of nails!...

...and we finished the night by attacking Papa...

...Saturday we went shopping to get a cake for an early birthday celebration for Mini #2, only the store wasn't open...

...while waiting to get the cake we hit a pet store...

...and then FINALLY got to enjoy that awesome cake...

...He even got to open a few presents early...
