Thursday Things I Giggle When I Hear About...
Published on 6.27.2013 in Thursday Things
When Mini #1 & Mini #2 were in Kansas they spent time at the farm...
...and loved to ride the 4-wheeler...
Mini #2 went up to my grandmother's house, his great grandmother's.
...usually for pop...
...but this time that he went he made a request...
"I want Great Grandma to take me on the 4-wheeler."
After laughing at him, she promptly replied, "No. I don't think so."
"Yes! You can gandma... You just have to do this (insert driving motions...)"
Just think Grandma. You can't break your tailbone doing it!

Monday's Three Weeks of Review...
Published on 6.24.2013 in week in review
Yes, I disappeared!
But I had an amazing reason!! My parents came to visit, and decided to take the kids back to Kansas with them! So, for two weeks I painted, cleaned my house, steam cleaned my carpets, and did VBS at my church. But you'll see all that soon...
The last few weeks included Mini #1's kindergarten graduation...
...think he'll still wave like this at his high school graduation?...
...Mini #2 was being his usual self...
...and then we snapped some quick photos...
...and a random family portrait...love these boys...
...the following day Mini #1 had his splash day...
...the next few days were a whirlwind as we hit up Cabela's...
...and Mini #2 found some new boots...
...we had a killer water fight...
...put together puzzles...
...went for walks...
...went swimming...
...ate at our favorite chicken joint...
...and promptly passed out on the way home...
...after much debate, we kicked the boys to the curb and said goodbye!...
...and promptly left on a date! :) ...
...to a cajun graduation party...
...yum...
...followed by a night with friends...
...the next day we played with kids toys at our small group...
...My first official week without the boys I slept (hee hee) and painted, a lot!...
...and the weekend included slumming on the lake with Engineering Man...
...the second week without the boys was spent with a lot of kids!...
...and cleaning my carpets...ewww...
...This past Friday we took off for Kansas to get the boys...
...after I spent the night puking I finally started feeling better and started spending time with my boys...
...#1 on the list was to see the chickens...
...followed up by visiting great grandma...
...and then visiting with friends...
...and trying desperately to take photos of the boys...
...we attended an early fireworks show...
...and then watched mini #1's VBS show...
...before promptly heading back south and passing out...
...long (short) trip...

While sewing a skirt last week i came across my stash of random fabric I picked up years ago.
Cute stuff that demanded being a pillow.
Adds a little color and some flair to the living room. I like it!

Published on 6.03.2013 in week in review
This last week included lots of time with Mini #2 since it was his last week of school!
He had his final party at the park...
...with his friends...
...and then we took off in a golf cart...
...to the splash pad...
...he had lots of fun...
...after getting soaking wet he gave his teachers hugs...
...love her...
...we're going to miss her!...
...Friday, Mini #1 had a birthday party at a pool so we took off again for the water...
...Saturday morning woke up to Mini #1 still at his sleepover, and this Mini climbing on the counters for cookies...
...that afternoon the boys and I played with our new water balloon filler...epic...
...yesterday the boys and I took off to another pool to play, but of course daddy was a work so I didn't get any photos...
...final week of school! Looking forward to the awesomeness of summer.
