The past week included Engineering Man looking like a badass...
...Mini #1 reading to Mini #2...
...watching EM play another game...
...while
EM.2 helped with the boys...
...(see, they even have tattoos in the same place!)...
...it was a lot of fun...
...even though they lost...
...we took off for the backwoods of the fort...
...through a low water crossing...
...to see daddy...
...out on the howitzer...
...we even got to see him shoot it...
...that evening we passed some windmills...
...to a random small restaurant...
...with awesome beer...
...and awesome surroundings...
...that had buffalo...
...and longhorns...
...and GIANT spiders...
...on the way back to Kansas, Mini #1 kept Mini #2 happy...
...it makes a mom's heart smile...
...we stopped at a splash park on the way home...
...at the Big Blue BBQ...niece #1 took out the guy helping at the booth...
...(please note where the tennis ball is located...flying through the air at the guy's head)...
...and Mini #1 knocked out some aliens...
...all of them jumped...
...were eaten by a caterpillar...
...ate sno cones...
...and ran through an obstacle course...
...we rounded out the day with a parade...
...with Uncle D...
..and "CANDY!!!"...
...Mini #2 even figured out how awesome a parade is...
...Finally, the heat got to us (without all those pools) so we made our own water fun!...
