Engineering Man and my's recent trip to Costa Rica made my 30 Before 30 list shrink considerably.
So, without further ado...what I did do... :)
OK, so technically I'm not certified. But, my main goal in getting certified was so that I could go again. And...that we did do!!
And of course, while we were scuba diving around Monkey Head Island...
Check!
And finally,
Never in my wildest dreams did I believe that Costa Rica would be that country, but God works in amazing ways!!
On to the next item on my list!!!

Monday's Week in Review...

...coming back to warm weather...
...that made for a great day at the park...
...some interesting sewage truck verbiage...
...and a super fun birthday party...
...that included Twister...
...and wrapping it all up with some grocery store fun and a night with "Los Chicos"...

Friday's Favorites...what we brought back...

Costa Rica has the most amazing wood. (teehee)
Anyway, very exotic different kinds of trees.
Everywhere we go we buy a shotglass. As Costa Rica is the land of coffee, we bought a mini coffee mug instead...
...we also bought a trivet...
...and well, coffee...
...we also bought trucks for the boys...
...seriously awesome...
...and last but not least, the original costa rican way to make coffee...

Week in Review...Part 2 of Costa Rica

Saturday morning started with a breakfast of Costa Rican bananas; don't export them because they're rare, and DELICIOUS!...
...and then we hit the bike trail...
...to see mangoes...
...an abandoned resort...
...iguanas...
...a ridiculously gorgeous view...
...and monkeys!...
...oh, and I can't forget Maxwell the iguana. He lived on Ryan's relative's patio...
...Saturday was the wedding...
...the flowers looked delicious...
...I thought he was pretty delicious too...
...pictures with the happy couple...
...and a dance with their moms...
...more tomorrow!!
Sunday morning we woke up at dark thirty once again to go here...
...to go underwater...
...when we got back we ...we also roamed the beach some more...
...the last night we hit the beach and found crabs...
...and the next morning we saw their tracks...
...we had breakfast one last time...
...before hopping in the transport, saying goodbye to the volcano...
...and saying goodbye to Costa Rica...
...the trip home was sleepy, well, except for catching a few shots of Lake Nicaragua...
The trip was amazing. I never thought Costa Rica would be on my "trip list", but am so happy it was. The experience far exceeded my expectations! On to the next rodeo...
