The week in review...

Wow...it's Wednesday?? I'm so far behind!! I was going to update my 30 Before 30 for you all this week, but I guess that will happen next week!!
But, the past week included an early Easter egg hunt at mini #2's school...
...with a super fun treat...
...and a killer photo...
...after a little mistake on how it was supposed to go...
...we hit the lake...
...and saw turtles...
...oh, and a fish!...
...Friday night, Engineering Man took me out for the birthday...
...to the Kansas Jayhawks Sweet Sixteen game!...
...we had awesome seats...
...and even though they lost it was the best present ever....well, either that or seeing Engineering Man in crimson & blue...I can't decide!...
...Saturday was another Easter egg hunt...
...where the Easter bunny was in attack mode...teehee...
...Mini #1 was hard to miss...
...and was excited about the bouncy balls!...
...they had quite the haul...
...Sunday morning after church was another hunt...
...and another haul of candy...
...afterward, we hit up the cousins for ANOTHER egg hunt!...
...yes, if you were counting the others from spring break we're on hunt #8...
...oh, and a bunny cake...
...that was engulfed in flames for my 30th birthday!...
...Mini #2 helped me blow them out...
...and then promptly passed out from the excitement...
...that night we went out for supper and the boys showed their true colors...
I love being a mom!!

A birthday timeline

Uncle D is living with us and last week Thursday was his birthday.
I believe birthdays are the most fabulous things in the world...I mean seriously...a day that's to celebrate you?!?...so I made an awesome supper and of course a cake.
FYI...Pioneer Woman's sheet cake is fantastic!!
So, here's a photo review of us doing "the cake"...

On a side note...the number 2 has been around a while. We used it to celebrate Mini #1's second birthday, Engineering Man's 26th birthday, my 27th birthday, Mini #2's second birthday, and now Uncle D's 25th birthday!

Monday's Week in Review...

This week included a trip north...
...with our BK hats on...
...to a family reunion...
...with awesome play equipment...
...and this one...
...and this one...
...the boys even turned a tree into something to play on...
...there were games...
...yes, we were throwing eggs...
...my mom's the one in the pink...awesome...
...well, it was awesome until dad broke the egg...
...we celebrated my mother-in-law's fabulous 50th!...
...and used some props for those that were missed...
...the parents and siblings...
...(some) of the grandchildren and (all) great grandchildren...
...and apparently I was missed...
...then it was the boys' turn...please note the youngest Uncle D is there...
...dorks...
...family...
...boys...
...and all of us...
...with the grandparents...
...and who could forget the minis...
...grandma and grandpa have a great outdoor space to take pictures...
...and that's just what I did with two of my favorite people...
...check back for pictures of one's kids...
...we saw a deer...
...and papa...
...we caught some grashoppers...
...and saw some awesome fireworks...
...and wrapped it all up with some quality grandpa and grandma time...
