Friday's Favorites...garage sale find...

Published on 1.27.2012 in , ,

I found these awesome beaded candle rings at a garage sale last summer for $.25 each.

I loved the idea of using them as Valentine's Day decor, but thought they'd be a little more fun shaped like a heart.

Some bending later...and voila! Super cute decor.  For $.50.

LOVE IT!

Friday's Favorites...garage sales...

Published on 10.07.2011 in ,

Today I'm prepping for tomorrow's garage sale...

My first EVER!

Yep, that's right folks.  This will be the first time I have ever had a garage sale.  But, I'm really excited to purge crap out of my house and get some $$ for the effort.

Wish me luck!

The platter I picked up at the garage sale last week was a little...under the weather.

Using Brasso, I buffed the plate and made it...

...GORGEOUS...

A little ragged in spots, but considering it was 50 cents...
