The past week included Engineering Man packing up...
...a trip North through this state...
...which has my favorite road sign...
...and my favorite roadside statue...
...this cutie driving beside me...
...and this one in my backseat...
...to end up in this state for the next 4 1/2 months...
...we stopped to see these friends...
...and play a little old school Mario...
...the next day we said bye to Daddy, and took off on our own to the farm...
...Papa decided to shoot off a rocket...
...that had been in the closet for 20 some years...
...surprisingly...it worked!...
...and yes, it was hooked up to the battery of his truck...
...an 85th birthday party...
...that was the "it" place to be...
...pictures with her daughters...
...her grandchildren (with a couple missing)...
...and her great grandchildren (two missing)...
...Cheetos!...
...hmmm...cameras...
...checking out Oma's cupboards and spilling baking soda while eating chicken boullion...
...helping Papa farm...
...in our new stomping boots...
...that were tested...
...while out checking on the newborn calves...
...and Papa's sand pit...
